Overview

Embark on one of the finest weekend treks in the tranquil Chopta and Tungnath, nestled in the Garhwali Himalayas. At 13,000 feet, this trek offers an unforgettable experience amidst mists, coniferous trees, and snow. The best time for the Tungnath trek is from April to November, when you can witness the mesmerizing beauty of the Himalayas.

The Chandrashila summit trek reveals breathtaking beauty, enhanced by lush deodar and rhododendron forests. Chopta is a visual delight, with its expansive greenery captivating visitors in spring and summer, and a pristine blanket of snow making it equally enchanting in winter.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi to Nainital

Drive to Nainital in the morning and check into your hotel upon arrival. Spend the rest of the day relaxing, or if you prefer, explore some of the local attractions. Nainital, known as the Lake District of India, offers many serene spots to soothe your senses. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02:Sightseeing in Nainital & Transfer to Corbett

Today, you’ll explore the renowned attractions of Nainital, including Bhimtal, Naina Peak, the Astronomical Observatory, Land's End, Mall Road, Dorothy’s Seat, Tiffin Top, Raj Bhavan, Snow View Point, and St. John’s Church. Don’t miss the chance to shop at the local market and enjoy a boat ride on Naini Lake. Later, we will head to Jim Corbett National Park. Upon arrival, check into a wildlife resort and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel

Day 03: Jeep Safari in Corbett Tiger Reserve & Local Sightseeing.

Early in the morning, you’ll embark on a jeep safari through Corbett Tiger Reserve. After returning to the hotel for a relaxing lunch, you can visit the Garjiya Devi Temple and Corbett Museum in the afternoon at your own pace. The Corbett Museum, once Jim Corbett’s home, houses exhibits related to his hunts, hunting equipment, and personal artifacts. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the wildlife resort.

Day 04: Corbett to Delhi.

In the morning we will drive back to Delhi. On reaching you will be transferred to airport or railway station for your journey back home.

Trek Cancellations Policy:

Initial amount of 25% of the Invoice amount, the Client must pay the balance amount 3 days prior to the date of departure of the Tour.

Tour Payment Terms:

If the Client is willing to amend or cancel his/her booking because of whatsoever reasons including death, accident, illness, or any other personal reasons including non-payment of the balance payment, the Company is liable to recover Cancellation charges from the Client, as company had already paid your amount in advance in order to Guarantee your services.

1. 100 % Voucher will be provided if the trek/ tour is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances or any kind of Natural Calamities, Political Unrest, and Sudden Global Health Concern, Riots, Lockdown Government instructions etc. in this case Uk Hills Travel will issue you a voucher of respective amount having 1 year validity from Voucher date, which can be used in any tour of your interest operated by us.

2. In case of any restriction/health issue (guest gets Covid +ve), we will be avoiding charging any cancellation basis documents been shared. The credit note for the same amount will be issued which guest can use in future.
